Gian Luigi Monti
decorator and restorer
Gian Luigi Monti began his artistic and professional career at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bergamo, where he became familiar with and learnt the delicate techniques of the art of painting. Valid experience was later acquired while with an important decorating and restoring studio that for more than a century has been restoring exceptional works of art in Lombardy, Lazio, Liguria, Emilia Romagna and Campania. Some such work is the following:

- the Pompei Sanctuary (NA)
- the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Guardia (GE)
- the Lovere Sanctuary (BG)
- the Vatican Rooms (ROME)
- The Bobbio Basilica (PC)

The solutions and techniques adopted by Gian Luigi Monti's art studio, where highly qualified craftsmen collaborate, are manifold and often make use of methods and materials used in the past for:
- decorations
- restorations
- trompe-l'oeil
- artistic panes of glass
- the recovery of stone and removal of scrawl
- planning and realization of interiors, private homes and historical buildings

- graffito
- gold-coating
